Beautiful Lupine Followed by Sadness

Roger and I spent a magical four days at the Sunset Hill House in Sugar Hill, New Hampshire, in Stapleton Kearns' Lupine World workshop.  Much fun was had by all, painting lupine and the White Mountains.   I did my best to pick up as many of Stape's pearls of wisdom as possible.  It was a pleasure making new friends from four of the six New England states. 

We were saddened to learn on our return last night that a young church friend of ours had been hospitalized with meningitis.  Regretably, Sam died this afternoon, leaving two sweet girls of two and six and his grieving widow.  I will not be posting for a while in my effort to be of support to the family.
