Perhaps like me, you have watched David Dunlop paint on his Emmy® and CINE Golden Eagle award winning PBS series Landscape Through Time with David Dunlop. He's a superb artist, art historian, teacher and raconteur. (*More info below.) I once had the pleasure of watching him give a painting demonstration at Hartford Fine Art & Framing in East Hartford. It was wonderful! He's amazing!
Video production will begin in April and it will be available by the end of June/July. The project is located right here in Wilton, Connecticut.
I have just ordered my copy of this set by subscribing to their project for $50. (Other funding options are available for those who are interested.) There are 37 days remaining to fund the project. It will only be funded if at least $25,000 is pledged by Tuesday April 26, 7:25pm EDT. Perhaps you will be interested in subscribing for yourself or as a gift for an artist friend. You can check it out by clicking on the link above.
*More Info: A classically trained artist, receiving his Masters of Fine Arts at Pratt Institute in New York City, David is represented in many galleries and both national and international art collections. He is also a popular and thoughtful lecturer, giving talks and workshops around the country and in many museums and galleries, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Hi Joan, I pre-ordered my copy and blogged about this too!
I really, really hope they raise the needed funds to make this a reality!
He is such a fine teacher and artist that I hope so too. I'm sure they will make it happen.
HI, Joan! You were so nice to write about our previous Kickstarter project that didn't fund. We have completed everything but the post production, and have a new Kickstarter campaign for the Painting Skies with David Dunlop DVD. We hope that you will take a look!

Thank you, Connie Simmons
Hi Connie,
I saw David Dunlop demonstrate his technique at Hartford Fine Art a year or so ago. He's outstanding! I loved watching his program on Public Television; I learned so much. Keep in touch. ~Joan
